About Geolights, Inc.
 

Geolights, Inc. was formed in 2007 as a company to research, develop, and market energy efficient lights for the commercial and domestic markets. A Geolight when defined means "earth light". LED's are made using Sapphires mined from the earth. The wafers made from these stones allow us to develop the technology for light that is not only beneficial to the earth, but also comes from the earth. The LED technology was chosen as being our focus, which helped to give birth to our name and logo. LED's are truly Geolights.

The founding of Geolights began with a simple conversation amongst friends. On a night out they began discussing their interests. One of the founders has been developing prototypes and researching the LED technology for nearly 10 years. Another one of the founders worked directly for an Audio Visual company with experience in Engineering and Construction. The third founder has experience in import export for an Audio Visual company. All were aware of the developments in LED lighting relative to environmental concerns. There were flaws in the current technology which would hinder the adoption of LED's into a general lighting scheme. It was the identification of these flaws, and the impact that a delay in adaptation would have on the environment that called for collaborative thinking between the three. Through this thought process, solutions to these flaws were revealed giving a foundation for Geolights, Inc.

This drive towards providing environmentally friendly products has been in the works since 2005. The founders have since been working to determine how to help the environment, and the means to do so by providing a vast range of lighting solutions. From developing units specific to your needs, to products which are available on the open market, Geolights is moving towards becoming a well known brand amongst the lighting industry. Our products are built using the highest quality materials to ensure durability. Design also plays a key role in developing a product that can last.
